Bear Bulz

There's a dish that lives deep in my childhood memories: bear bulz (or ursuleți de mămăligă). It wasn't just food it was a ritual my grandma created. Made simply with creamy polenta and rich cow cheese, it was the ultimate comfort. We’d gently slice the warm polenta with a string a simple satisfying action before rolling it all together into little cheesy balls. I always took it one step further, shaping them with love into tiny edible bears. This dish is the taste of home.
